Our furniture factory in Lam Dong, Vietnam

By Nguyen Van Thanh, Founder · Last updated October 14, 2026

Key takeaways

TVN Furniture builds solid wood furniture in a 2,400 m² workshop in the Phat Chi industrial cluster, on the edge of Da Lat. Thirty-eight people run two drying kilns, a CNC router, a four-side moulder, a wide-belt sander and a finishing booth. We work plantation pine from Lam Dong, acacia and rubberwood from the south, and imported teak and oak for export grades, and we ship about two 40-foot containers a month through Cat Lai port.

Where we are and why it matters

Da Lat sits at 1,500 m in the Central Highlands. The climate is cool and dry for most of the year, which is good for wood storage, and the province grows plantation pine that we buy within 40 km of the workshop. Ho Chi Minh City and Cat Lai port are 300 km away, one truck day, which keeps export logistics simple for a highland factory.

Woods in stock

Plantation pine (Pinus kesiya) from Lam Dong for painted and light-finish ranges; acacia and rubberwood from southern plantations for tabletops, chairs and outdoor pieces; imported teak and American white oak for premium indoor and outdoor lines. All species are FSC-available on request and every export lot ships with the legal-origin documents Vietnam requires. More on grading, moisture and finishes on our solid wood page.

“A table is only as good as the board it came from. We measure moisture three times: when the kiln opens, before the moulder and before the lacquer.”
Tran Thi Mai · Production Manager
