TVN Furniture Co., Ltd. was founded in 2016 by Nguyen Van Thanh, a carpenter from Da Lat who started by fitting out the homestays and villas around the city. The workshop now covers 2,400 m² in the Phat Chi industrial cluster, employs 38 people and builds solid wood furniture for importers in the United States, Australia, Japan and Korea, and for hotels, cafes and homes across Vietnam.
From a joinery to a factory
The first TVN workshop was 200 m² and two benches. Hotel owners in Da Lat needed beds, desks and cafe tables that could survive mountain humidity and daily cleaning, and Thanh built them in local pine. The first drying kiln came in 2018, the CNC router in 2021, and the first export container, outdoor acacia sets for an Australian garden retailer, left in 2022. Today the workshop runs two kilns, a full machining line and a finishing booth, and is growing into a factory one slot at a time.

Every board is dried to 8 to 12 percent and measured three times. It is slower and it is the reason our furniture does not crack.
